It is really unfortunate that the quality of these machines has gone down so much. Compared to my last Whirlpool stacked washer/dryer, this machine is made of thin metal, and cheap parts. I am concerned that the dryer might just topple off the machine soon. I got 25-30 years out of my last one. I will be surprised if I get 10 out of this one.

I™™m not to sure yet ???? It makes a loud whining sound so that only leads me to believe that it™™s NOT brand NEW !!!! You pay top dollar for what ???? Something that is reconditioned!!!! I don™™t write reviews often, but I refuse to let anyone else fall into this trap. This stacked washer and dryer is one of the worst purchases I have ever made, full stop.
Whatever engineer decided to redesign this from the previous model should be ashamed. It feels cheap because it IS cheap- flimsy, poorly built, and clearly designed to cut corners rather than actually wash and dry clothes.
The washer doesn™™t clean anything properly. You have to babysit it by pre-loading detergent on the bottom, and instead of just filling with water like every washer has done for decades, it wastes your time with some pointless ™sensing™ routine. It™™s a downgrade in every conceivable way.
The dryer is somehow even worse. I have to run it TWICE just to get clothes dry, and even then they come out wrinkled like they™™ve been balled up in a gym bag. What is the point of a dryer that doesn™™t dry?
But here™™s what turned this from ™disappointing™ into ™infuriating™: less than 24 hours after installation, the dryer started making a horrifying, obscenely loud noise-like something was breaking apart inside it. I called Whirlpool expecting a brand-new, defective appliance to be covered. Instead, I was told flatly that unless I pay extra for an additional warranty, I™™d have to pay out of pocket for a repair on a machine that wasn™™t even a day old. And forget returning it, Whirlpool has zero return policy. None. You™™re locked in no matter how broken it arrives.
This is a company selling overpriced, underperforming machines and then refusing to stand behind them when they fail immediately. That™™s not bad luck, that™™s a business model built on trapping customers.

Has good capacity. Washes and dries fast. Has multiple optios for different loads. Noises get some getting use to. But doing great so far.

Washer and dryer combo works great! The tub in the washer is big enough for a regular size wash. The dryer dries towels great. I recommend buying this combo for a condo/apartment. Love mine!

Good luck working on this machine. To get to any simple part for the washer you have to disassemble the entire machine. Had a shock that needed to be replaced for the washer and you can't replace it. Terrible engineering

This is not my first unit. I have used several similar units in the past. I trust the brand. First off let's get the delivery out of the way. It was an incomplete install, forgot to bring the new power supply cord. I was able to complete the install myself the next day. I was compensated for the delay. In between the wait I was able to inspect the unit. I got my nut driver out and did a check. Every sheet metal screw exposed on the exterior of the unit was Not Tight ! Some lock tight would do the trick, even standing up to the shipping . After the little issues where done, The unit works very good ! Large capacity, Perfect for my space.

This is a current model of a 20-year-old whirlpool laundry center that was a wonderful workhorse. This one has a new features and I love it. I do wish I could advance through various cycles if I wanted to, but it won™™t allow that. it does a great job, however

I purchased mine a month ago love how deep the washer tub is I had a front loader that I replaced with this stacked set so much easier to load no longer crawling on the floor to get the wet clothes out. I do wish it had a chime or ring when wash or drying is done because I never know when to check it...bummer. Also the dryer door is very hard to close you have to slam it to get it to latch would like a good tip on how to avoid this because I don't want to break the latch. I am very pleased with it performance it suits my needs perfectly

I™™m very disappointed in the dryer. It is supposed to have a sensor that will determine when the clothes are dry and EVERY time, my clothes are still wet. When I use the timed dryer instead of of automatic, then I have to dry every load for at least 90 minutes.

There is water standing in my basket. It will not drain all the way out. That is an issue for me. I™™ve reached out to Whirlpool headquarters and they said it was a standard thing with their washing machines, but my problem is if I™™m washing clothes and water that has been sitting in the basket for a week. The water is not fresh.

We bought this a month ago and so far are satisfied. But much to our surprise after what we thought was ample time looking over its features IT HAS NO BUZZER FOR THE END OF DRY CYCLE ON THE DRYER. In hindsight if we would of know it could of affected our decision to purchase.

We bought this machine a year and a half ago. It is a lemon. We do not recommend it. It is our 3rd stackable Whirlpool washer/ dryer and we have had trouble with it since the first time we used it. We have had it a year and a half, and just had to have both the main board and belt replaced. That cost over $460. We have been trying to get by without having to get another new machine, but since it started up on its own and overheated, we are ready to trash it. We were so glad we were home when this happened. The only way to
get it to shut down was to unplug it. We called Whirlpool and were told there is nothing they can do, since the warranty is expired. We will not be buying any more Whirlpool products.

Only lasted 6 months before failing.Machine will not even turn on. Whirlpool will not honor warranty or even send a tech out to look at it. Honestly I think I deserve a refund for all the hassle it's caused at this point. Have to handwash all my clothes until I can find a machine to replace it. Very cheaply made machine that is not at all built to last. Save your money and buy a higher quality machine.

The front-loading washing machine that came with the house we purchased seven years ago finally died, and I've never been so happy! We purchased a stacked top-loading washer with a dryer on top, and laundry has become so much easier. The washer automatically senses the weight of the load and adjusts the water needed for a complete clean.

Realizing my old washer/dryer combo was nearly 20 years old when the washer stopped working again, I bit the bullet to buy a replacement. This one automatically judges how much water is needed and the temperature once the user decides what type of laundry is being cleaned. After two weeks and having washed several loads, I am happy with my choice.

I purchased my whirlpool w stackable washer and dryer combo. Spin cycle is working sometimes and will not spin other times. I have had to manually change cycle to drain and spin to get it to spin somewhat! Purchased and registered 2023. Repair cost estimate is $850.00. I WILL never again purchase a whirlpool! Very disappointed!!!!

My landlord got me this new laundry center to replace the old one, which unfortunately broke. I hate this dryer with all my heart. Takes up to 5 cycles to get clothes dry, that's like 5 hours!! By the time I take the clothes out, they have a musty smell, and more often than not, sheets get tangled into giant knots, trapping smaller items in, so they're wet when I take them out. You know that lovely fresh laundry smell? I don't, haven't smelled it for months since I got this dryer. All my clothes smell like now is mold, nothing if i'm lucky. This is the worst dryer I've ever had the displeasure of using.

I bought this laundry center a couple of months ago, and so far it has been an awesome investment. The only things that I wish was different are: I wish the washer was a little bigger and I wish the buttons were a little easier to understand and use. It is just my husband and I with our dog and rabbit. We don't have a lot of laundry, but our comforters and bigger blankets push the washer a little more than I would like. Otherwise, it has been a great washer and dryer, especially for people who need to save on space.

Stackable Washer/Dryer is such a wonderful asset to have in my parent room. I am the community liaison for our campus. This has been a joy to be able to offer my families in need an opportunity to come to my campus and at least do a load of clothes for thier child(ren) so that they can attend school. We have found that often times attending school every school day is not possible due to the fact that the child has no clean clothes and funds are limited for the parent. Students who lose a jacket and it's placed in the lost & found bins. I will pick them up once a week, wash them, and place them out for the children to claim again. They will have a nice clean smell for them towear again.
The washer/dryer is so convienant and a nice addition to do something nice for no cost to serve our families. The washer/ Dryer does a full load, it's quiet and so easy to operate.

It works nice and cleans the clothes well. Also drys my clothes in half the time of our old one. The only real complaint I have is there's no timer to let me know when loads are done. Both washing and drying.

We have to have a laundry stack unit because of space. I am replacing my old kenmofe that was fantastic except for its age. And I am very disappointed. Things I do not like: there is no dryer light. The dryer does not hold a washer full of clothes. I am having trouble drying clothes. They are either damp or burning hot. Two choices. Very dry and less dry. The dryer is very hard to open and close. The handle is shallow and slippery. The clip is very tight so you have to push hard and then the machine is rocking. I have checked it with a level and it is perfectly level. I don™™t like how it rocks around. Also you can not choose the water level and the washer is deep and you have to lean in. I did not have any of these issues before.

It started having a problem after the first wash load.
I don™™t like the fact you can't adjust dryer temperature. Trying to get someone to call back took days. There is a scam associated with the Whirlpool repair service. There is someone finally coming out to repair it, but they wanted $150 to to come out and we hadn't even had it a week. I'd take it back but we are elderly and it about killed our son in law trying to get it up our ramp.
